The Continuum of Eustachian Tube Obstruction in Cats: A Temporal Bone Study

The Eustachian tube is a canal from the tympanic cavity to nasopharynx that responsible for aeration, drainage, and pressure equalization of middle ear. Partial or complete blockage can trigger severe ear disease. We evaluated pathologic changes obstruction (ETO) in 15 temporal bones cats with bilateral ETO bone collection at University Minnesota Medical School Otopathology Laboratory. samples were histopathological investigate continuum disease intervals 2 days, 1-week, 2-weeks 4-weeks.
